Your data, in plain words

LAST UPDATED 29 OCT 2026

Alloy Training ("Alloy") is run by Nicolai Brunner in Zurich, Switzerland. This page explains what Alloy stores about you, why, where it lives and who helps run it. Questions or requests go to hello@hybridtraining.app.

What Alloy stores

  • Your account: name and email, or your Google sign-in.
  • Your goal, test results and, for a body-weight goal, the weights you enter.
  • Your plans and sessions, the WODs you send (photos and text), your chat with Alloy, notes and feedback.
  • Workouts from Strava, Apple Health or added by hand: type, time, duration, distance, heart rate and how hard it felt.
  • Your settings, such as rest days and notification switches, and your phone's push token.

Alloy stores only what it needs to plan your week and show your progress. It never uses your data for ads and never sells it.

Where it lives

Your data is stored in a Supabase database in Ireland (EU). The app's servers run on Vercel in Dublin. The website itself sets no cookies and uses no tracking.

Who helps run Alloy

  • Anthropic (Claude) writes your plans, the short note on Home and the answers in the chat. It receives your goal, plan, chat messages and the WODs you send. From your workouts it sees only whether a session was done, how long it took and how hard it was; never heart rate, pace, distance or routes.
  • Strava, when you connect it, sends your activities to Alloy. You can disconnect it at any time.
  • Apple Health, when you allow it, lets the iPhone app read your workouts. Alloy only reads, never writes.
  • Expo and Apple deliver notifications to your iPhone.
  • Resend sends Alloy's emails; ImprovMX forwards mail sent to hello@hybridtraining.app.
  • Google, if you sign in with Google.

Some of these companies are based in the United States, so parts of your data may be processed there. Each one handles it only to provide its service to Alloy.

How long it is kept

Your data is kept as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, everything Alloy holds about you is removed and Strava access is revoked. If you joined the beta waitlist, your name and email are kept until you are invited or ask to be removed.

Your rights

In the app, Settings, Your data: Download my data gives you everything as one file, and Delete account and all data removes it all. You can also write to hello@hybridtraining.app to see, correct or delete your data. If you think Alloy handles your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or the data protection authority where you live.
